worn carpet peculiar smell
The location proved convenient with shops and restaurants nearby.
The condition of the room was disappointing. The carpet seemed quite worn. there was a peculiar smell I couldn't quite place, but it wasn't particularly inviting. I suspect a deep clean is in order.

a pleasant stay
multiple options convenient location
The queen room patio was very clean and well kept. I really appreciated that. breakfast had multiple options, and the service was prompt. i liked the available snacks and drinks in the pantry. It was open to guests at all hours. the location was convenient. I was able to walk to many attractions.
the bathroom window in the queen room patio was difficult to open and close, a minor inconvenience. it could benefit from some maintenance or replacement for smoother operation.

The pantry included complimentary snacks and drinks available 24/7. That was very useful. there was a common area with comfortable seating to relax in the evenings. the building has historic charm. That adds to its unique character.

The guesthouse is within walking distance of shopping areas and restaurants. It's very convenient. public transportation is accessible nearby. It makes getting around simple. scenic parks are located close. They add beauty to the area.

Decent stay. Some areas need improvement
accessible location homely feel antique furniture old house unclean carpet dirty backyard
The location was very accessible. it was close to burrard street. I found restaurants nearby. the house felt homely and safe. i appreciated the antique furniture, it seemed like home
in my room, the toilet seat needed replacement. the backyard was untidy. The cushions had bird droppings.

adequate stay with notable drawbacks
lack of housekeeping stained carpets
the breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, potatoes, and fruit.
The place did not entirely resemble the advertised pictures. there was no daily housekeeping, so fresh towels were only available upon request. the carpets in the rooms require serious cleaning or replacement. The ones in both rooms i booked had stains.

parking space pantry food worn decor staff absence
The hotel had a convenient parking space (this was quite useful). Breakfast was included daily. The food and drinks in the pantry were available anytime. The location near shops and restaurants was a bonus.
The carpet in the room looked old (it could use some updating). The room lacked air conditioning. I found that many things looked quite worn. I noticed that there were no staff present upon arrival.

excellent location nice neighborhood great service good breakfast fresh scones cooked cakes worn carpets hot room no housekeeping
the location was excellent in a nice neighborhood. robson street and the cbd were only a few blocks away. breakfast was good and service was great. i liked the extras available at all hours like fresh cooked scones and cakes.
the carpets seriously need changing. our room was very hot. there was no daily housekeeping so i would not stay again.

fantastic location lovely muffins available snacks
i found the location to be fantastic. the hotel reminded me of staying with family. breakfast was included and it was also fantastic. i appreciated the readily available fresh muffins, cookies, fruit, and snacks provided.

The communal lounge area was comfortable. I spent time there. the pantry remained fully stocked 24/7. This was beneficial. the pantry included snacks and drinks. it was good when i felt jet lagged.
